Floral Background in Black and Gold Colors

It’s a Happy Holiday from your favorite Authors and Bloggers. While we know everyone celebrates a different way, we wanted to make sure that you guys knew how much we treasure you all. So from Dec 14th to Dec 17th, all 200 or so of us will be blogging about the holidays and what they mean to us. We may talk about our favorite holiday traditions, recipes, gifts, reads, heroes, and so much more. We want to hear about what you do for the holidays, what you read, and who you’ll spend it with. We hope to see you here and happy hopping!

While we do that, we are EACH doing a giveaway. Yep. There will be over 200 giveaways hosted by the Authors and Bloggers.

But that’s not all….

We have THREE grand prizes. You, as a reader, can go to EACH blog and comment with your email address and be entered to win. Yep, you can enter over 200 times!

Now what are those prizes?

1st Grand Prize: A Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet

2nd Grand Prize: A $200 Amazon or B&N Gift Card

3rd Grand Prize: A Swag Pack that contains paperbacks, ebooks, 50+ bookmarks, cover flats, magnets, pens, coffee cozies, and more!

I’m offering two prizes.

For writers, I’m offering an in-depth first chapter critique. For the reader, a free PDF of my Dangerous Temptation Preview. All you have to do, is leave a comment with your preferred email address.

Here’s a small snippet for you from chapter five of the revised version of my preview.

She’d never been held so close while dancing before. It felt good to be held again, even by a stranger. Kaitlin closed her eyes. Something felt familiar about him, as if she’d met him before despite that she’d never seen him till tonight.

How odd.

Maybe Cadmon wanted a young debutante to hang off his arm. She scowled. It might explain why he’d chosen her to talk to out of all the more sophisticated women in attendance. Or maybe it was because she was Ean’s cousin?

“You always this evasive? Kaitlin opened her eyes, and stared into his. Deep set, leaf green, with a bright gold star-burst around the pupil, and a darker green rim around the iris. She noted his aristocratic eyebrows. His hair had an orange undertone, with sorrel highlights. If she ran her fingers through it, would it be stiff like straw, or smooth like a model’s hair?

She enjoys being surrounded by the stark beauty of mother nature. Whether it's a moon-lit starry sky, or a picnic by a peaceful waterfall cascading from the mountain side. Growing up no matter where she was physically, she always had at least one book in her hands and spent every free moment lost in a book. It's only natural that as she grew up, her passion for reading grew into an even stronger passion for writing, especially Young Adult Paranormal Romances. She is a proud member of many writing and marketing groups, and an active participant at Critique Circle and several other crit groups. 13. Mary Roya says:

I would love to have you critique a chapter in my story. I am just learning to write. I never knew how hard it can be to show and not tell my story.

I really enjoy the holiday season. I enjoy the smells, the food and lights. Oh and the music too. Not much into baking anymore. But I do enjoy tasting, ask my scales. Tee Hee. Great blog. roya-clan@sbcglobal.net

    • kittyb78 says:

Hi Mary. Thanks for stopping by.
Fair warning: My crits tend to be blunt {though I do take time to explain why I make those suggestions}. Enjoy the hop and good luck. Merry Christmas. 🙂

      • Mary Roya says:

Actually what could be worst then someone telling me I need to go back to school for english grammar? I do know that I have work on it. But I’d like to think the comments make me better. Beside, I always make sure I have lots of chocolate beside me when I read the critique. (smile).

      • kittyb78 says:

Grammar is only the beginning. With I do an In-depth crit, I go for characterization, plot, over all flow of the story, pacing, and anything you mention feels like it isn’t working right. I get as thorough as I can. XD
