So, I got the email response from Createspacearound two am. They decided to crop the far half inch off my cover art {which was crafted to meet their specifications} so now, I have to fix that and then go into another 48 hour review period.

Let’s hope this is the final one…

I’ve been so frustrated dealing with all these last minute changes and way past 48 hours reviews, I’ve barely done any writing. I think it’s because of the highly irritated factor that I can’t focus on writing. It comes out sloppy instead of smooth right now, and that’s frustrating me even more.

I’ve decided instead to read during the heat of the day and work on promoting my preview at night.

On the plus side:

I reached 257 twitter followers tonight. My new goal for that is 500.

I’ve also been added to the Twitter Author List For established and rising YA Authors.

I’ve also received more positive feedback about the preview and should get a review around Friday.

Plus, Friday {through Smashwords} My book preview should ship to Barnes and Noble and Sony., completing the delivery to over 32 countries!

So, it’s not all bad. *wink*

Have any of you been through these kind of last minute set backs? How did you handle them? Did you look for your silver linings, or wallow in misery?

She enjoys being surrounded by the stark beauty of mother nature. Whether it's a moon-lit starry sky, or a picnic by a peaceful waterfall cascading from the mountain side. Growing up no matter where she was physically, she always had at least one book in her hands and spent every free moment lost in a book. It's only natural that as she grew up, her passion for reading grew into an even stronger passion for writing, especially Young Adult Paranormal Romances. She is a proud member of many writing and marketing groups, and an active participant at Critique Circle and several other crit groups. Favorite personal quote: "An author cannot grow without both constructive criticism and encouragement."
