Okay, this is a serious post and plain terrifies me to know these have been on the market more than thirty-five years now.

Chewing Gum

ASPARTAME:

Found in most dietary food and drinks and even some of our “healthy” food and drinks. Including most chewing gums.

Aspartame may trigger, mimic, or cause the following illnesses:
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Epstein-Barr
Post-Polio Syndrome
Lyme Disease
Grave’s Disease
Meniere’s Disease
Alzheimer’s Disease
ALS
Epilepsy
Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
EMS
Hypothyroidism
Mercury sensitivity from Amalgam fillings
Fibromyalgia
Lupus
non-Hodgkins
Lymphoma
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)

Click here for a full list of known side effects.

Preventative measures.

  1. Remove all sugar-free products with aspartame from your diet.
  2. Learn to ‘read’ your body. Begin recording any health changes.
  3. Get a hair analysis.
  4. Be happy with yourself.
  5. Detoxify.
  6. Restore depleted nutrients.
  7. Exercise and get plenty of rest.
  8. Eat 75% raw foods at every meal.
  9. Drink water, water, water.
  10. Get control of your life.

Beware of most sodas and sweeteners. {Particularly Equal, Nutra Sweet and Swwet-N-Low.}

Avoid most chewing gums.

Always check your ingredients labels.

toothpaste

Think your children are safe? Better check the labels on your toothpaste and most bottled waters for  FLUORIDE.

Click for a list of it’s hazardous effects, including tooth decay.

Both components were originally created as chemical warfare and will crop up in your ingredients labels more frequently than you think. Talk about terrifying!  The scariest part? Most people don’t know. They see the labels, but don’t think about what harmful damage those ingredients can {and have been proven to} cause.

Alternative method.

My family and I went back to old fashioned Baking Soda and water. Are teeth have never been healthier or stronger. Heck of a lot cheaper too.

Readers sound off: Am I conspiracy theorist? Or an informed citizen? Let’s hear your opinions. Now that you’ve been made aware, do you plan to continue to use these items, or will you be more cautious and read your ingredients labels?

Absolutely, Kitty! Reading labels is eye-opening. We can’t assume that the food that is advertised all over the place for us to buy is safe for us to consume. Check all the food dyes in our processed food.

My younger daughter has epilepsy, and her neurologist specifically barred her from having ANYTHING with Aspertame in it, including ALL diet sodas. According to his research (he led a team at Johns Hopkins), it aggravates epilepsy. Great post!

Hello Cyrus. I have several cousins who have full blown Epilepsy. I know how frightening those seizures can be since I had them as a child. Last one I was around twelve and it terrified me. My main trigger was ear infections, so I’m very careful about my ears. Identifying her triggers will also help curb the severity of the seizures. At least, it did mine. I still have headaches now and then and have taken measures to help prevent those too.

Now you have me worried. I need to read the labels better.!
