Okay, today I have absolutely got to make some progress on my current WIP. Even if it’s only a few paragraphs. Or some restructuring.

I’ve been busy promoting the preview, and catching up on social media the last few days. The rest of today’s writing time, will be spent working on my current MS in some shape or form.
My muse decided to take a vacation the past week, but I’m calling her out, whether she likes it or not!
What are some of the things you do when your muse refuses to cooperate? Do you ever get too wrapped up in social media and promotions that your MS suffers?

About kittyb78
Catrina Barton is a licensed Kung-Fu Instructor of the Black Dragon style, and draws on that experience to make her fight scenes both realistic and action packed.
She enjoys being surrounded by the stark beauty of mother nature. Whether it's a moon-lit starry sky, or a picnic by a peaceful waterfall cascading from the mountain side.
Growing up no matter where she was physically, she always had at least one book in her hands and spent every free moment lost in a book. It's only natural that as she grew up, her passion for reading grew into an even stronger passion for writing, especially Young Adult Paranormal Romances.
She is a proud member of many writing and marketing groups, and an active participant at Critique Circle and several other crit groups.
Favorite personal quote:
"An author cannot grow without both constructive criticism and encouragement."
Good for you! I’ve been ignoring my rapidly overfilling inbox (massive blog reading to catch up on) since I’ve been working on my MS. Sometimes it’s great to just shut the world out and create. Lots of luck and words to you!
Thanks.
I can’t ignore my emails. Too much important stuff comes in {like updates from sister and my currently deployed Marine friend.}
But I can stay off facebook until late tonight and the same for twitter. XD
Good luck with your current MS.
Ah, see—my secret is two email accounts.
Good for you for avoiding the distractions regardless, and good luck to you with your MS too!
Thanks. Enjoy your flight.
I’m in the same boat. I had a slight derailment of my writing progress, after having written seven pages in one day. And after a few days I’m slowly getting back on track and I’m beginning to make a daily progress,
Hello, thanks for taking time to respond.:)
Muses are picky creatures. But she’s finally warming up to me today.
Even a little progress is progress.
Feel free to return any time.
