My hubby and I both have worked hard this week. Here is the newest Cover Art he made for me.

Personally, I adore what he’s done with the tiger and the new font and colors!
Now I have a few questions:
1.} Does this cover work for a YA Paranormal Romance?
2.} Are the words easy to see and read?
3.} Does Kaitlin look realistic?
Feel free to leave your responses, likes, dislikes, ect below. All feedback is appreciated!

About kittyb78
Catrina Barton is a licensed Kung-Fu Instructor of the Black Dragon style, and draws on that experience to make her fight scenes both realistic and action packed.
She enjoys being surrounded by the stark beauty of mother nature. Whether it's a moon-lit starry sky, or a picnic by a peaceful waterfall cascading from the mountain side.
Growing up no matter where she was physically, she always had at least one book in her hands and spent every free moment lost in a book. It's only natural that as she grew up, her passion for reading grew into an even stronger passion for writing, especially Young Adult Paranormal Romances.
She is a proud member of many writing and marketing groups, and an active participant at Critique Circle and several other crit groups.
Favorite personal quote:
"An author cannot grow without both constructive criticism and encouragement."
I think the letters could be bigger, or thicker. The title was hard for me. This could just be me, though. A great YA cover.
Thanks.
We’re working on the font.
How was my name area? Can you read that easily?
I agree that reading the title font was hard. I can easily read your name etc but I think you should give yourself more credit (i.e. a bit bigger!)
Interesting cover. I don’t read a lot of YA Paranormal (apart from the mainstream like Twilight) so I don’t know how it fits in the genre I’m afraid.
My only comment (and I’m reluctant to make it because you like the tiger so much!) is that there is something about the way the tiger has been faded in that makes it look part-elephant to me. I think it’s because you can’t clearly see the tiger’s nose, so the ‘cat’ essence is a bit diluted.
The girl looks pretty solid and I like the contrast between the knife and her jeans.
Thanks. Interesting point, one that hasn’t been brought up before. I’ve passed your comments on to my hubby thanks. I like Twilight, but that’s not what I’m going for, lol.
Thank you. We’ve redone the cover art with all the info in mind.
